Choosing a new tennis racket shouldn’t be overwhelming - and at String Sports, we make it easy. With so many models, weights, and string setups out there, the best way to find what really suits your game is to try it out properly, on your own terms. Our demo service lets you test rackets in your own time, so you can feel confident you're making the right choice before you commit. With over a decade of experience helping players at every level, we're here to make sure you walk away with a racket that feels just right.

1. Browse & Choose
   Pick your favourites from our racket range and select the “Demo” option on the product page.
2. Order Online
   Pay the full price of the racket up front. When you return it, we’ll refund you -minus a £25 demo fee (or a fee of just £10 if you return in-store).
3. Collect or Get It Delivered
   Pick up in-store or have it sent straight to your door.
4. Try It for 2 Weeks
   Play, test, and get a real feel for the racket before you decide.
5. Ready to Buy?
   Return your demo and let us know. We’ll knock £25 off the full price when you buy the same model.

Not the right fit? Return the demo and choose:

• A refund minus the £25 demo fee
• Or try another racket (your original payment will be refunded, and a new demo fee will apply)

There’s no limit to how many rackets you can demo, but a £25 demo fee applies to each racket that is refunded or exchanged. This fee is waived entirely if you choose to purchase the demo racket. Please note that our free restringing service does not apply to demo rackets - if you’d like your demo restrung, just get in touch for options and pricing. In-store demos are charged at £10 per racket.

As this is a popular service, demo availability can vary. If your chosen model is already out with another customer, we’ll let you know when it’s expected back or suggest a suitable alternative. Demo rackets are only available on selected adult performance models - if you don’t see a “Demo” option in the grip size menu, that model isn’t currently available to demo.
