Description
The ultimate control racket gets updated for the modern player.
Wilson's Blade performance tennis rackets deliver perfect control to dominate in big moments. For the 10th edition of this iconic franchise, we've elevated the design for the modern player, incorporating insights from nine generations of innovation. For the Blade 98 18x20 V10, we raised the beam height in the upper hoop by 1mm to create a subtle taper that improves racket head stability and injects a dose of effortless power for extra aggression. We also updated the layup to deliver an industry-leading 3 degrees of torsional stability while maintaining Blade's signature feel. The closed string pattern further enhances control and responsiveness, and the Championship Green color is sure to pop on court.
Parallel Drilling
Grommet construction provides a consistent, more forgiving string bed response while dramatically increasing the sweet spot.
DirectConnect
Carbon fiber handle extends to directly connect with end cap for improved feel and enhanced torsional stability.
Elite Spec Tolerance
Eilte spec control for confidence in every swing to create the most consistent Blade ever!
Braided composition
Braided composition improves the flex of a racket to produce enhanced feel and control
Zen Edge
Zen Edge creates 3° of torsional stability for perfect Blade feel and off-center stability on off center shots to control any situation
Signature X-Loop
Signature X-Loop geometry in the shoulders that deliver stability and feel to make a Blade a Blade
Championship Green
New Championship Green colorway
18x20 String Pattern
Dense string pattern optimizes string durability and generates stiffer response for enhanced touch and precision.
